Who this covers
This policy describes how GEO Visibility Auditor at https://geov.app handles information when you use the scan, the fix kit, an account, or checkout. The operator is an individual indie SaaS, not a named corporation.
Information we collect
We collect only what the product needs to run the audit and the account:
- The domain or URL you submit, plus the public files we fetch to produce the report: robots.txt, /llms.txt, and homepage HTML. We store the structured result (crawler rules, schema, excerpts, scores) so you can reopen it.
- Your email address if you create an account or ask for a magic link.
- A browser cookie that counts the free scan, and a session cookie if you sign in. The local demo session, when Supabase is not configured, is an httpOnly cookie on that browser.
- Payment status for Starter, Pro, or scan credits. Creem is the merchant of record and processes the payment. We receive identifiers Creem sends on a completed checkout or subscription (such as your account id and plan). We do not receive or store your full card number.
How we use it
We use this information to run the scan, draft the fix kit, enforce the free-scan limit, keep your site list, and apply a paid plan after Creem confirms payment. We do not sell personal information. We do not send your pages to ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Claude. Citation monitoring is not live.
Cookies and analytics
This version does not load a third-party analytics or advertising script. Cookies are limited to sign-in, the free-scan counter, and whatever the host platform sets to deliver the site. If that changes, this page will say so before a new tracker is turned on.
Who else sees it
Processors act only to run the service:
- Creem, as merchant of record, for checkout, tax, and subscription records.
- Supabase, when configured, for authentication and the database that stores accounts, sites, and scans.
- Resend, when weekly email is later switched on, to deliver the report to the address on the account.
The sites you scan are fetched over the public web. Their operators can see a request from our crawler user-agent. We do not ask you to upload private customer lists.
How long we keep it
Scan results and account email stay until you delete the account or ask us to delete them. Server logs that mention a domain may be kept for a short operational window and then discarded. Creem keeps payment records under its own policy as the merchant of record.
Where it is processed
geov.app is offered to buyers outside any single country. Hosting, Supabase, and Creem may process data outside the country where you live. If a mandatory privacy law in your place of residence gives you extra rights, those rights still apply.
Your choices
Email reports@geov.app to ask for a copy of the account data we hold, to correct the email on the account, or to delete the account and stored scans. We may need to confirm you control that inbox. Deleting an account does not delete records Creem must keep for tax or fraud checks.
Children
The service is for people operating websites. It is not directed at anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top of this page will change. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated policy.
